InterSpace Sound System is an independent internet radio station broadcasting Afrobeats, Amapiano, Afro House and other African club sounds — 24 hours a day, year-round. We stream from Port Harcourt, Nigeria, with a rotation curated by working DJs rather than a marketing team.
Born out of the wider InterSpace Distribution ecosystem in 2025, ISS exists to give African producers, DJs and emerging scenes a permanent home on the dial — a place where the music that moves Lagos clubs and Joburg basements gets the same airtime as anything coming out of London or New York.
Every hour, you will hear a mix of new releases from independent African artists, classic afrobeats deep cuts, amapiano sets pulled from our resident DJ archive, and one-off sessions recorded with collaborators across Africa, the UK, and the diaspora. We open the rotation to listener submissions, weight new artists alongside established ones, and never run third-party ads on the stream.

The rotation is built and refreshed by working DJs from across Africa and the diaspora. Each resident brings their own corner of the spectrum — from peak-time amapiano to slower afro house, log-drum-led club music to alté pop.
When a scheduled show is live, you hear the show. The rest of the time, the station auto-rotates through a hand-curated library of tracks and DJ mixes — weighted toward new releases from independent African artists. Tracks rotate in based on listener engagement, DJ approval, and editorial picks. Nothing pay-to-play, nothing algorithmic.
